your device must have been bought when joining your contract or upgrading and actively used with your pay monthly SIM for a minimum of six months
you can only unlock a replacement device if it was received directly from the manufacturer, or as a result of an insurance claim. Proof of exchange must be provided
If you’re on pay monthly and you've bought a second-hand device, you won’t be able to unlock the device using our online form.
If you're not with EE, Orange or T-Mobile, but have a device locked to EE, please call us on 07953 966 250. We can unlock most devices for £8.99. It will take 10 days to unlock the device after the request has been submitted.
Please note: The £8.99 (inc VAT) charge will be deducted from your balance when we complete the unlock. You need to make sure you have enough credit for the next ten days to pay the fee. If there is not enough credit we will be unable to complete the unlocking of your device. Your PAYG account must be registered with your details for us to complete an unlock of a PAYG device. Register or manage your account.

You will be charged £8.99 (incl VAT) for unlocking your device, this will be charged to your account. The IMEI of the device to be unlocked must be registered on the account and not blacklisted.
The amount of time it takes to unlock your phone depends on the device type and is as follows:
We may need to contact your device manufacturer for your unlock code, which could delay things slightly. If that's the case we'll let you know by text on the contact number that you provide with us.
